Refining a boutique experience
Brief
The Peech Hotel is one of Johannesburg’s leading boutique hotels. Simplr was asked to redesign the Peech Hotel website and all digital brand collateral.
Solution
Simplr set out to re-design the site that reflected the unique design style and character of the hotel. We built a responsive framework that leveraged new photography, customized a WordPress CMS and integrated the booking engine. The results were an increase in direct bookings on the site as well as increased engagement and time spent on the site.
User Experience
Carefully planned user experience and wireframing took place upfront. With mobile playing a vital role in how users engage with digital content, a streamlined mobile approach was planned out and implemented. Direct booking on the site was the key factor and focus of the new site design. We integrated a secure and easy to use booking engine. The results were a huge increase in direct online bookings and a website that is a true reflection of the hotel’s character and personality.
Bringing the experience to life
The photography used throughout the site allows the user to explore visually what makes the hotel unique. The layout is clean and modern, while the navigation easy to use.
Navigation
With a simple hamburger navigation, the imagery on mouse over gives the user a snapshot of what each section is all about.
A room with a view
With a recent addition of 10 additional rooms, the Rooms & Suit’s page was streamlined to help visitors quickly see the different offerings. Helping them to make an informed decision when selecting a room.
