Brief
What began as a simple brief — to refresh Civix’s Capability Statement — evolved into a full-scale brand evolution. As a company growing rapidly and redefining the land development space, Civix already had a compelling vision and strong leadership. What was missing was a unified brand language to reflect that momentum.
Through close collaboration, we unearthed the heart of their story and expanded a single sales tool into a powerful, end-to-end visual and verbal identity system. The result — a cohesive, confident brand expression that mirrors Civix’s ambition, clarity, and challenger mindset.
Solution
Civix’s original identity had the basics - a clean sans serif wordmark and gradient colour treatments that hinted at transformation – but lacked distinction and depth. We used those hints as our foundation, then thoughtfully built up a brand system that works hard, looks sharp and scales with them.
We restructured the palette to feel intentional and spacious. Each colour works solo or in gradient, reinforcing Civix’s themes of momentum and progress. Inspired by architectural plans, we created a flexible system of geometric elements that adds structure and visual identity across applications. Lastly, we developed a brand voice that’s sharp, human and straight-talking.
